Senate Election

A Signed Contract

The undertaking is written down before the vote, not improvised after it, so the people of Edo South can measure representation against a stated standard rather than against a speech.

Ward-to-Ward Mobilisation

Organised volunteer structures in Oredo, Egor, Ikpoba-Okha, Orhionmwon, Uhunmwode, Ovia North-East and Ovia South-West. Urban, rural and riverine communities represented fairly.

An Annual Scorecard

At the end of every year, a public account is given of what was delivered, what is still moving and what has not, with the reason why. Every member receives an official ID card and a defined role.

Our Vision

Representation You Can Measure

Volunteers4Regie is a district-wide movement built around a simple idea: a Senator should put in writing what he intends to pursue, and then report publicly on how far he has got. My Contract With The People is that document, grounded in what the Constitution actually empowers a Senator to do: lawmaking, representation, oversight and appropriation.

Lawmaking: bills and motions addressing identifiable needs of Edo South and of Nigeria

Representation: accessible constituency offices, regular town halls, and petitions carried to the National Assembly

Oversight: lawful scrutiny of federal ministries, departments and agencies, and of project delivery in the district

Appropriation: budget advocacy for Edo South, and monitoring of what is actually implemented

Our Strategy

Volunteer Focus Areas

Three pillars driving the mobilisation effort across the seven LGAs of Edo South toward 2027

Community outreach

Community Outreach

Door-to-door engagement, compound meetings and market visits that put the Contract in people's hands in every ward, from Benin City's urban wards to the riverine communities of Ovia South-West.

Digital mobilisation

Digital Mobilisation

Social media, WhatsApp networks and community radio carrying the campaign's message, and later its yearly public account, to every household in the district in real time.

Town hall organisation

Town Hall Organisation

Coordinating town halls in all seven local government areas where the Contract is explained chapter by chapter, and where professionals, women, youth and community leaders put their own priorities on record.
